Did You Know?
Pancuraji Moss is especially valued in shrimp aquariums because its dense branching structure creates tiny microhabitats where young shrimp and microorganisms can thrive.
Tank Size: Suitable for aquariums 10 L (2.5 gallons) or larger.
Plant Placement: Often attached to rocks or driftwood, forming dense cushions of green foliage. It pairs nicely with plants such as Bacopa caroliniana and Rotala indica, while small foreground plants like Marsilea hirsuta can create a natural riverbed look.
Compatibility: Popular in aquariums with shrimp, nano fish, and peaceful community species. Shrimp such as Amano shrimp and Neocaridina shrimp frequently graze within the moss structure. Small fish like celestial pearl danios may use the moss as hiding places.
Substrate: Attach to hardscape rather than planting in substrate.
Light: Low to moderate lighting.
Temperature: 20–28 °C (68–82 °F)
pH: 6.0 – 7.5
Hardness: Soft to moderately hard water.
CO₂: Optional.
Care & Propagation: Trim periodically to maintain shape. Small fragments easily attach and continue growing.
