Natural Habitat: Bucephalandra “Needle Leaf” grows attached to rocks and wood in flowing stream environments where narrow leaf forms reduce resistance to water movement.
Special Considerations: Stronger flow helps keep the narrow leaves clean and prevents debris buildup. Stable lighting supports consistent leaf shape. Do not bury the rhizome.

Plant Placement: Best used as a midground accent attached to rocks or driftwood, especially along vertical lines or branching wood. Works well to emphasize structure and direction within the layout. Pairs effectively with broader plants such as Bucephalandra “Belindae” and Anubias barteri to create contrast in leaf shape, while background stems like Rotala rotundifolia “Orange Juice”, Limnophila sessiliflora, and Ludwigia repens “Rubin” provide volume behind it.
