20-Gallon Tanks: Common 20-gallon high aquariums are approximately 61 cm (24 inches) wide and may fit. A 20-gallon long aquarium is approximately 76 cm (30 inches) wide and requires a larger HG999 model.

Plant Compatibility: Suitable for Anubias, Bucephalandra, Java fern, Cryptocoryne, mosses, Banana Plants, Bacopa, Rotala, Ludwigia, Vallisneria, floating plants, and other low- to moderate-light species.

Fish Compatibility: Suitable for bettas, guppies, Endlers, tetras, rasboras, danios, Corydoras, dwarf gouramis, and freshwater community fish.

Shrimp & Snail Compatibility: Suitable for planted shrimp and snail aquariums. Use lower brightness in shallow tanks and increase it gradually.

CO₂: Optional. CO₂ and balanced fertilization may improve the colour and growth of more demanding plants.

Recommended Schedule: Begin with 6–8 hours per day at moderate brightness, then adjust according to plant growth and algae levels.

Best Use: Freshwater planted tanks, shrimp tanks, betta aquariums, community tanks, and small aquascapes.

Not Recommended For: Saltwater aquariums, photosynthetic corals, or dedicated reef lighting.

Installation: Attach the brackets, centre the fixture over the aquarium, and keep the controller and electrical connections away from water.

Controller Setup: Set the correct local time before selecting a mode or creating your DIY program.

Care: Disconnect the power before cleaning and wipe the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Do not intentionally submerge any part of the lighting system.

Tip: Use coloured Night mode for short evening viewing rather than leaving it illuminated throughout the night.
